Home: FAQ

HOW DID WORLD SERIES PARK BEGIN?

In 2004, a year after our Saugus baseball Little league team made it to the Semi Finals of the little league world series, a dream began to offer Saugus youth a world class regulation size field to play on.

HOW DOES WORLD SERIES PARK OPERATE

World Series Park is a Not-for-Profit organization 503(c) that has no expense liability on the annual town budget. It is solely dependent on donations and fees. It has been raised through the dedicated and shared efforts of many wonderful people over the years. We are grateful for the generous donations of materials, expertise, labor and more that has allowed World Series Park to become best of class and remain a top level baseball field in Massachusetts. A special thanks to Pepsi-Cola and Prince Pizza for their continued support!

HOW WOULD A TEAM/LEAGUE PLAY AT WORLD SERIES PARK?

Our priority is to support Saugus Baseball, and we schedule their games with a priority. An interested team or club can contact us at our email to discuss what dates are available. There is a fee to play at World Series Park, and these monies collected are solely used for the upkeep of the field, snack bar and bathrooms. We also rely on the kind donations of patrons and snack bar sales.

WHAT ARE THE FIELD GUIDELINES FOR TEAMS

We have a small group of volunteers. Our dugouts are spotlessly broom cleaned for the first game of the day, and we kindly require all subsequent playing teams to remove all their trash and sweep out dugouts as when arrived to allow for an enjoyable experience for all. We require all playing teams to not stand or practice on grass between infield and dugouts. We ask for all teams to ingress only on their respective designated side, and kindly do not walk across the batters box/home plate area prior to the game start. No alcohol, outside food or smoking allowed inside park. Dogs not allowed inside park area.  We thank you for coming and hope you enjoy your visit to World Series Park!
